Monterey Bay Aquarium Halloween party and Halloween night

We skipped the church trunk-or-treat this year to check out the Monterey bay Aquarium Halloween party, and it was super fun! 

 Their costumes: Audrey was a ghost bride, Ian was a scary scarecrow and Declan was Link from the Zelda video games.

 

 On Halloween we went trick-or-treating around Pacific Grove and had a great time--got lots of candy!

And the boys got to march in the annual parade at their elementary school--so cute!

Such a great party! Too many guests to post all the pictures, but we had a great time.

Butterfly parade, Grandma's funeral, Fall break trip

October has been full so far! Full of lots of feelings too. My dear Grandma Gayle passed away, at age 90, and she will be missed and remembered well. I got to go to WA to her funeral services and help with dressing her for the viewing. It was all very special and I loved my family time. We also participated in Butterfly parade once again, welcoming the monarchs to Pacific Grove, and had a fun family trip to San Simeon, Hearst Castle, and Cayucos over fall break (camping).
