This is what I looked like going to work on Halloween.

At our annual party--vampire costumes.

My sister and brother-in-law came as vampire hunters and burst in the front door shooting Spencer and me with nerf guns. It was hilarious.

My best friend and college roommate came again--over an hour drive but we live the closest we ever have!

Ian got a pet hedgehog over the summer, and she is very cute.

We went to Yakima to visit my youngest brother Ben. It was a great trip.

September

 I'm very late catching up my blog because I went back to teaching! I was hired at Tumwater High School, teaching three periods a day, 10th and 12th grade English. It has kept me so busy, and I love it. Here's an update from September:

First day of school pictures: Bonnie teaching, Audrey 11th grade, Ian 9th grade, Declan 7th grade

Ian's first year in marching band--he's been doing great!

Audrey and I went out to buy glass pumpkins.

Labor Day we tooled around Olympia and had a great time.

On our Labor day hike, the boys did some fun poses for us. :)

Spencer took the kids to Halloweentown (St. Helens, OR). I was going to go (planned the whole thing), but I got super sick for a few weeks. Only missed one day of work, but spent my weekends lying around trying to recover.

August

 

August so far! We spent a Saturday driving out to the Olympic National Forest and hiking at Staircase. Gorgeous.

Sasha the hedgehog is warming up to us. She's really cute. Still very grumpy.

We've been buying and eating loads of berries from the local farm. I made a marionberry pie.

We took a weekend trip with Spencer's parents to Astoria and Seaside. Did some town touristy stuff and beach time.

My sister, her kids, my brother, my kids, and I took a ferry to Anderson Island in the Puget Sound and enjoyed a lake day.
