Spring break part 1

Several of our family members came for Ian's baptism and spring break fun. We went to the beach, played at my house, hiked Pt. Lobos and more (see part 2!)

Spring break part 2

My mom does an annual Easter egg hunt for the grandkids and cousins. This year, she brought it to us!

 Another spring break adventure: Cannery Row and Lover's Point. An unexpected beach trip, so we were in jeans with no towels but no one cared in the end.

Ian's baptism

Ian was baptized in the same ceremony with his buddy Boston, who is my best friend Beth's son. It was so special to have the Gardner and the Rood families together.

Rochelle Gardner and Louise Rood were high school best friends. Their daughters, Beth Bernards and me, Bonnie Brien, were also high school best friends. Now our daughters, Claire and Audrey are buddies. This is a happy reunion.

Ian's birthday shenanigans

Ian celebrated his birthday by taking his friend Gavin to Jump 'n Around and then back to our house for pizza, brownies and video games. Happy birthday Ian!

March fun

Early March: hiking with the family; Audrey gets a bold new haircut; and Paul came for an impromptu visit to be my date to Matilda: the Broadway Musical. We have fun!

Ian is eight!
